Step 1: Measurement

First, measure the thickness of the door panel. For a 3-inch panel, the thickness should be 10-16mm, for a 4-inch panel 12-20mm, and for a 5-inch panel 12-20mm.

Step 2: Force Direction

When closing the hinge, pay attention to the arrow direction and apply reverse force to close it. Avoid closing the hinge simultaneously inward or outward.

Step 3: Positioning

Ensure the correct edge distance between the hinge and door panel. For full cover type hinges, the edge distance should be 4mm plus the thickness of the side plate. For half cover type, the distance should be 4mm plus half the thickness of the side plate. For capless type hinges, the edge distance should be 4mm.

Step 4: Straighten

Screw in a screw to fix the hinge position, straighten it, and position the door panel correctly.
