Direction for use:

• Line up the two boards to be connected by dowels and draw a vertical mark on each side to show where the dowels are to be located.
• Align the mark on the board with the desired dowel diameter. Insert appropriate bushings before drilling the dowel hole.
• Drill all positioned holes on the board successively. Check that all holes are aligned.
• Put glue in the holes and on the dowel pins. Insert the dowels into the holes and clamp the boards until the glue has dried.

Note: The dowel jig has 4 holes along the top, with only 2 accepting threaded bushings (replaceable 1/4", 3/8", 5/16"). The other 2 holes accept 7/16" and 1/2" drill bits.

If the dowel joiner is not centering correctly, follow these steps:

• Loosen the two screws on the rear pressing block with an Allen key (5/32in).
• Adjust the big screw on the handle to keep the left and right distance consistent.
• After adjusting, tighten the two screws on the rear pressing block.
• Rotate the handle to check if the distance between the front and rear pressing block and the guide block is the same.
